About the Game

BOOM is a retro ’50s - early ’60s, Politically Incorrect, Insensitive, Irreverent, Totally Outrageous, Obnoxious, Nostalgic, tongue-in-cheek, "Beer and Pretzels," "Gotcha!" Atomic War Card Game for 2 - 8 players. It takes about 30 minutes to play.

While deceptively easy, quick, and fun to play, BOOM is a biting satire of one of our biggest fears.

Although an anti-war game, BOOM recaptures the Espionage, Propaganda, Pacifist versus Hawk Ideologies, rumors of a Doomsday Machine, Assassinations, and many other Cold War Atomic Age tactics in a nostalgic, darkly humorous, but also very deadly way.

The game's winner is often a loser, thus proving that war — especially one involving Weapons of Mass Destruction — is not very nice!

Even the buck-tooth cow, standing alone in an empty field, a zero-value City Card that has just been BOOMed, agrees with that! Moof!
