About the Game

ByteShift is a competitive, single-page Roll & Write where you draft and combine program elements to build the most efficient hacking routine. You roll dice to draft program elements from randomized tables, then write your “code” onto virtual floppy disks, card-crafting your way to the cleanest, smartest hack while trying to outsmart your opponent (or the system in solo mode).

Once you’ve crafted your full routine, you execute it from back to front, chaining effects for maximum efficiency and scoring —aiming to rack up more points than your opponent by the time the run is complete.
