About the Game

All children want to eat cookies... but eating too many can lead to problems.

Battle of the Cookies is a trick-taking game that can be played by children aged 7 and up, in which your aim is to collect pieces of cookies by winning tricks, which can bring you points at the end of the game.

The cookie pieces come in 4 different types: 3 yummy and 1 spoiled, and you need 4 pieces of the same type to make a complete cookie. The cookie pieces are taken from a hidden pile and kept secret by the players.

The game is based on the usual trick-taking mechanism, but the lower-value cards, although they are unlikely to ensure that the trick is won, bring spells for the players.

Spells are single-use effects that can be played at any time for various purposes, such as stealing cookies pieces of other players. At the end of the game, the players reveal the cookie pieces they have taken. Each yummy piece brings points and complete cookies (4 pieces of the same type) bring bonus points. Spoiled pieces bring negative points.

The player with the second highest score wins the game, as the one with the most points got a stomach pain from eating too many cookies.
