Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – 5th Player Expansion 2020

This expansion makes adding a 5th hero to your Bat-team worry free.

Now unleash 4 vs 1 in 3 Adventure mode missions and take Justice to that lawbreaker. The “Detective Comics “ series by James Tynion IV is the setting for these 3 missions, Batman assembles a new Bat-team led by Batwoman and featuring the skills and talents of Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Tim Drake and Basil Karlo. 5th player Adventure mode provides the Evil Masterminds side with some much-needed fortitude to stand up to the might of 4 heroes of Gotham. Villains have access to a larger reinforcement point pool and a boosted Energy Cube turn recovery amount, that lays a good foundation towards going toe to toe with the team and instigating their heinous plan. Careful consideration during setup is key to a villain’s victory, as the evil mastermind, you have to ensure that your back up is up to the job. Remember that point when creating your own missions in ”Mission Maker “. Back up, Back, up, back up – make sure you have some – tough cookies too. Setting inspired, Clayfaces’ hero screen rounds out the expansion and the team, with Batwoman leading the plays – these 3 missions drop you right into the comics timeline.

Mission 1 – Our Heroes face off the Court of Owls, aided by Cassandra’s father as they plan to awaken an entire army of Talons to wreak chaos and destruction in Gotham City – it’s your job to foil them.

Mission 2 – The head of the Demon, attended by Deathstroke plans Gotham’s downfall. His plan ? take out the city’s economic backbone, destroy the corruption it creates. Your Job – Guard and Prevent.

Mission 3 - The St Dumas Order’s final creation is awakening – the team faces the Azrael assassins and the artificial intelligence Ascalon. It’s your job to lay waste to this order once and for all.

More Missions for this dedicated team will roll out, fully supporting 5 player mode into the future in addition to expanding the mission roster even further.
