Battle for Manhattan 2023

With the help of the Avengers, defend Manhattan against Thanos and Loki!

Your aim of the game is creating the biggest group of Avengers Tiles depending on the symbols drawn on your Identity Token. Shuffle the Identity Tokens face down and draw one of them each. Do not show your token to the other players! Choose one tile each from the tiles you have received and pass the remaining tiles to the neighbouring player. When all players have selected 1 tile each and passed the rest on, place the chosen tiles face up. Then, one by one, add them to the previously placed tiles. The player who has the tile with the highest number lays it out first, followed by the others in descending order of the numbers on their tiles. In addition to the squares with the image of the Avengers, you will also find 5 types of special squares on the tiles. Special squares can be added to any other square in the game, and any square can also be added to them. Special squares can make your game easier or harder for other players.

When you have played 2 or 3 rounds (depending on the number of players), reveal your Identity Tokens and count whick of the Avengers has created the largest continous area. The fewer players have owned the same Avenger, the more points you get for its area. Then add up the scores for both of the Avengers you have on your Identity Token. The player with the highest score wins!
