About the Game

Bearish Frenzy is a random and unpredictable Christmas game. These randomness and unpredictability are the foundation of uncontrolled fun that escalates with each roll of rice. It makes you take actions immediately, before your opponents do so.

No thinking - only acting.

Bearish Frenzy is Christmassy-styled snakes and ladders with fun tasks in each cell. The twist is in some cells, where the Bear forces all players to take actions. Now. No questions. No discussions.

To make things worse, doubts and delays in fulfilling the command make you punished by the Bear.

I've created it years ago, when I was an engineering student in Berlin. Not Bearish Frenzy, but its predecessor - Bären Rausch. It was a DIY present for Secret Santa. All of a sudden, it got some ridiculous popularity among my university buddies. Already then, the game was balanced and captivating, despite its sketchy looks and tinkered quality. Recently, I've stumbled across few residual copies of Bären Rausch in my cellar and decided to give it a second life so people all around the world can enjoy it.
