Bloodshed 2027

Legends whisper of artifacts and gold hidden within the walls of a long-abandoned castle, and of treasures soaked in the blood of the four fallen kings who battled to obtain them. The local rumor mill back at the tavern says that the castle is hungry for more blood. No one has yet made it back alive, and the betting on who will is getting intense.

Bloodshed is a dark-fantasy PvP board game of tactical combat, looting, and character progression. Players start as paupers and set out armed with only a rusted pickaxe, a crude wooden plank for a shield, and some flea-bitten rags for clothes. Each turn, players manage their action points to navigate their way to the castle, all the while finding chests, collecting loot, and equipping themselves with weapons and armor. Only the first player to escape the castle grounds alive with 7 or more gold will claim ultimate victory. However, players must proceed with caution. The castle is ravenous and will make every turn dynamic and potentially very dangerous.

Players must search the bloodthirsty castle and surrounding lands to find the two things they desperately need: gear and gold. Using everything at their disposal and an unique engaging, simultaneous combat system, they will attempt to defeat any opponents in their way. With unique events every round, individual character roles for each player, and adventurous treasure-seeking mechanics, Bloodshed offers high levels of replayability, player interaction, and a heart-pumping race to the end.

Bloodshed brings several uniquely fresh features and mechanics:

Open Map Exploration: Search the abandoned castle, surrounding forests, and ruined buildings for items, weapons, and loot to equip your character and increase chances of winning in combat. Dynamic Rounds: Event cards alter game zones each round, dynamically creating high-value locations and dangerous hazards across the board. Simultaneous Tactical Combat: Predict your opponent's attacks and scheme your defense simultaneously. Strategy and mind games take priority over luck. Multi-Tiered Progression: Collect multiple tiers of weapons, armor, and utility items to adapt your loadout for survival and combat.
