About the Game

In Boa Boa, players try to be the fastest to cross the jungle with the help of boas, orchids, secret tunnels, compasses and magical insects, while trying to avoid deep ponds, poisonous toads and most importantly, the tarantula!

Boa Boa is played on a board with 18 tiles randomly placed inside a frame. The tiles may be positioned horizontally or vertically, creating a different board each game with more than 3000 possible combinations.

Players take turns rolling the die and moving their pawn the number they rolled. If they land on a PASSIVE square, their turn ends and play passes to the next player. But if they land on an ACTIVE square, they must perform the action the square symbolizes. There are 8 types of ACTIVE squares, each one requiring a specific action.

There is a variant of the game in which players use two pawns instead of one and choose which of the two they will move after they roll the die.

Play ends when a player lands on the WINNER square by exact count.
