乏月百物語 (Bougetsu Hyakumonogatari) 2013

To celebrate the summer ahead and to honor an old temple soon to be demolished, the game of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai (A Gathering of One Hundred Supernatural Tales) will be held. Danjo, the village's figurehead, puts out the invitation. Six men and women from all walks of life gathered together in the old temple. Danjo tilts his head at this strange group. “Huh, I thought I called on five people… or did I invite six by mistake?” Danjo felt uncomfortable, like small bones were scraping against each other in his throat. He suddenly recalled urgent business that required his immediate attention, so he excused himself. He ran out of the temple gates as fast as he could. Thus, a hundred stories will be told by the remaining six people. It's time to begin.

In 乏月百物語 (Bougetsu Hyakumonogatari/100 Tales Under the New Moon), Each player becomes one of the six storytellers who have come to the old temple to join in the telling of 100 stories. The more ghost stories they hear that are to their liking, the deeper and deeper the character becomes lost in the story, and the more Ghost Story Points they will be rewarded. If, on the other hand, a ghost story is not to the storyteller's liking, the player will pull their hair out and drop out of the game.

As the number of players gradually decreases, the last remaining player becomes the Ghost in the Ghost Story and loses the game. However, this ghostly player invokes a curse when they are revealed, and any player killed by the curse also loses the game.
