Bread Rondo is a bold and detailed redesign of Blade Rondo, by the designer Pawn, in collaboration with MAGI, the creators of the "Magical Bakery" series.

Bread Rondo is even harder than the original - you play with 5 cards instead of 7. With a lower life limit of 10, you're in for one hell of a fight!

However, as a baker, even in the midst of battle, you can't afford to neglect your baking and it's up to you to make sure your bread is delicious and to unleash its hidden powers. Proper temperature control and mindful baking are the keys to success, but don't let your enthusiasm for baking great bread knock you over before you've even opened the oven!

Bread Rondo is a collaboration between Blade Rondo and Series: Magical Bakery. It was proposed by Magi Inc (Magical Bakery) to Domina Games (Blade Rondo) as a way to revive interest in board games after Covid, since both series are familiar to Japanese players. Domina designed and published the game, but artists from Magical Bakery contributed arts.

The game was revealed on April Fools 2021, just 9 days before Game Market 2021 where it was first sold which is extraordinary short. But the realisation and the short notice did leave an impression and draw discussions, and the marketing strategy is considered a success.
