About the Game

Busó rege ("Busó Legend") is a tactical Hungarian card game themed around the traditional Busó carnival in Mohács, where revelers wearing terrifying carved masks scare away the remnants of winter — and, in legend, the Ottoman invaders.

Players gather resources from the forest — fur, soot, and willow — to carve the most powerful masks. Collect raw materials, frighten the enemy forces, and complete shared objectives to claim victory. The atmosphere is rich with Hungarian folk tradition, brought to life through evocative card art.

A light family game for 2–6 players aged 7 and up, playable in about 30 minutes.
