About the Game
In Capua players try to make a name and fortune with gladiators. Buy gladiators and send them into the arena to win victories for the Lanista and fortune and honor to his Ludus.
The game takes place in four phases - Auction of gladiators - Fighting in arena - Negotiation - Maintenance of ludus
An auction game, where we must be careful what gladiators opponents are recruiting, and what they might plan to do with them.
A fighting game, where through the dices players give order to the gladiators.
A game of negotiation, where the alliances can cover some lanista with gold - but not for long, as a rich Ludus covet the treacherous eyes of others. And in the end only one can win.
An easy game to learn and play, with a dynamic auction, combat and negotiation that never becomes repetitive, and where alliances shift like the roll of a die.
