About the Game

This Kickstarter-exclusive mini-expansion for Captain’s Wager introduces a scrappy twist to your high-seas scheming. Inside are two Thrifty Engineer crew cards—cunning salvagers who can snatch Scrap Metal from rival treasure stacks or, failing that, pocket gold straight from the supply. The expansion also includes five Scrap Metal treasure cards, one in each player color. If taken into your hand as an item, a Scrap Metal card is immediately placed into your claimed treasure stack. Its gold value becomes X, where X equals the number of Scrap Metal cards you've claimed.
