About the Game

Card Tenho is a card game that condenses the entire strategic experience of mahjong into a single game. Players draw two cards and decide whether or not to exchange one of them to form a hand, then choose to reveal their hands (or fold) all at once to exchange points... and repeat this process.

The cards are numbered according to the likelihood of forming a hand, and symbols indicate whether a combination is valid or not, making it easy to understand even for those unfamiliar with mahjong. Of course, hands like Yaku-man and Tenhou exist, but the probability of them appearing is low. However, as the game progresses and the card pool shrinks, that probability increases.

In the new edition, the hand combination symbols—which were not fully accurate in the previous version—have been aligned as closely as possible with those of traditional Mahjong. Additionally, the inclusion of two “Lucky Draw” cards increases the likelihood of Yaku-man (while also causing competition), and the ‘Tenhou’ card now prohibits the use of specific numbers, adding a touch of romance. “Card Tenhou” is a casual card game themed around Mahjong that combines luck and strategic maneuvering.
