About the Game

What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse was the third expansion to Castlevania: Nocturne of the Tabletop. It was released in November 2016 and included a number of major changes to the game.

-Large character mats, mainly intended for use in Tabletop Simulator

-New Classic Mode, a very difficult survival variant with restricted movement, limited lives, and no items, meant to more closely resemble the classic games in the Castlevania series.

-New Lord of the Castle Mode, an asymmetrical variant with one player acting as Dracula, controlling all monsters and events in the castle. Dracula becomes more powerful and gains new special abilities to hinder the other players as the curse clock gets closer to Midnight.

-2 new difficulty levels: Morning Sun (Very Easy/Beginner), and Despair (Very Hard)

-New Map Deck: Reveals a location with special conditions as players enter each of the 6 stages, making every game a very different experience.

-10 new bosses

-2 new Dracula forms, including an evil Soma as Dracula

-9 new items

-Several new and updated abilities for existing characters
