About the Game

From the instructions: There is chaos in the henhouse – the clumsy rooster has rolled all the eggs onto the floor of the hayloft, and the hen’s nests are empty. Now al the eggs have to put back into the nests quickly. If you’re lucky the little mouse will help you, but be careful that the rooster doesn’t stumble through your nest. A fun colour and memory game.

The game contains a large (approx. 40 cm), colourful gameboard illustrated by Hermien Stellmacher. The board has 20 recessed spaces to hold the wooden eggs (5 each of 4 colours) and 4 matching hen's nests with coloured spaces for each egg. There is a die showing 1 space of each colour, plus 1 mouse and 1 rooster. The rules detail 2 versions: 1. A straight memory version where the aim is to gather the 5 eggs in your colour before the other players. 2. A version where the winner is the first player to gather 5 eggs in any colour where you keep the egg if you match the colour rolled on the die. A mouse rolled on the die gives you an extra egg, a rooster returns an egg from your nest to the henhouse floor.
