Cheap Date is a two-player card game about building burgers and managing their final cost. Players take turns adding toppings to their burgers or playing cards as secret sauces with special effects that influence one or both burgers' values.

Throughout the game, players can discuss strategy while keeping key information hidden. Secret sauces create unexpected twists, forcing both players to adjust their plans and find creative ways to bring their totals closer together.

When all cards have been played, both burgers are scored. The smaller the difference between their costs, the stronger the result, making cooperation and timing just as important as the ingredients themselves.
