About the Game

The game of Checards is played on essentially a checker board but with cardboard tiles representing playing cards. One player takes the black suits and one the red suits. Once the cards are divided, they are mixed face down and placed onto the playing board so that neither player knows the value of any of the cards until they are placed face up one at a time on the board. Play proceeds by each player in turn moving a card piece forward in a diagonally direction one space. The idea is to eliminate all the opponents cards (cards are eliminated by "jumping" them, but a card is only eliminated if the jumping card is of higher or equal value than the card being jumped)
