Chrono Bibliotheca immerses players in a mental world where they gain access to a mystical library that consolidates all kinds of information. Players utilize this vast repository of knowledge to overcome significant events in the real world, find and rescue comrades in distress, and introduce unknown technologies to society. The library's unique characteristic is its connection to all moments in time, allowing players to move forward or backward along multiple timelines during the game.

The gameplay revolves around strategic time travel and information gathering. Players must navigate various time periods to solve problems that were initially unsolvable and save allies who were previously unreachable. Each time a player rewinds time, it advances steadily, and players are constrained by the rule that they cannot return to a time before a moment they've already traveled back to. Additionally, the game is limited to 8 rounds, representing the finite time flow within the library.

The main goal of Chrono Bibliotheca is to save the world and rescue comrades by efficiently utilizing the ability to rewind time and the knowledge obtained from the library.
