About the Game
In Cinema players put together movie deals; players have hands of script and talent cards and take turns producing movies.
A movie requires a script card and three talent cards. However, a producer can't use their own script - they must choose one that is pitched by another player, or forfeit their turn. After choosing a script, the talent must be selected - the producer can make any kind of mutually-acceptable deals with other players for their talent. They can also use their own, but at a steep cost, or use random cards from the deck for a lesser but still high cost.
Once a movie is made it receives box office, prestige, and miscast cards based on how well the talent cards match the script's requirements; box office cards provide money immediately while other cards are kept hidden until the end of the game.
Once all players have had a set number of turns awards are given out for best movie overall, best movie in each genre, and worst movie, with the quality being determined by the cards won by each movie. The awards are worth money and the player with the most money wins.
