Cistude is an abstract game for 2 players aged 10 and over, for games lasting from 10 to 30 minutes.
You are 2 naturalists in charge of the census of European CISTUDES, a freshwater turtle protected species, of the Mer Rouge pond in Brenne (Indre, France).
Be the first to spot a specimen, or the one who counts the most of specimens once you’ve explored all the banks of the pond.
A specimen is drawn using 4 two-colors hexagons recto
verso (2/3 of one color an 1/3 of the other and the complementary pattern on the other side).
The game is divided into in 2 phases : in the first phase player will create a pavage with 32 hexagons. If in this phase a player create a turtle he will win by sudden death. In a second phase player will modify the pavage to draw the maximum of turtle. Players with the highest number of turtle win the game.
