About the Game

Civil is an abstract strategy game for 2 players. Lead your faction in out-maneuvering your rivals, influencing military operations in promoting your interests, and securing a future where your faction can prosper.

Civil asks players to manage the timing of multiple game layers to race to a winning score. Players use area majority influence to play mission tiles to block piece movement or to disrupt tile play sequences by their rival. Playing tiles allows for promoted pieces to race across the board, with arrival timing determining overall score. Finally, un-promoted pieces engage in mancala-like movement to shift area majority influence. Planning the timing of these game layers is made more difficult by alternating player lead each Round.
