About the Game

In Classic of Mountains and Seas - Nine Ding (山海经-九鼎), players step into the myths of ancient China, drawn from the Classic of Mountains and Seas (山海经). The sacred Nine Ding (九鼎) —symbols of divine power and the Mandate of Heaven—have been lost. Rival clans now seek to forge them anew and restore order to the world.

Objective

Accumulate prestige (Victory Points) by forging Ding, invoking gods, and mastering clan abilities. The game ends when the last Ding is forged or the final Destiny card is revealed. The player with the highest prestige becomes the rightful ruler under Heaven.

Background According to legend, Yu the Great (大禹) forged the Nine Ding from the metals of the Nine Provinces to signify his divine right to rule. When dynasties fell, the Ding disappeared—awaiting those worthy to reclaim them. This game brings that myth to life, merging Chinese legend with modern strategic design.
