Código Lyoko 2010

Fantasy game related to the french cartoon TV serie called Code Lyoko.

The players need to collaborate in oder to defeat X.A.N.A., a virus that attacks both the real world and the web world.

Codigo Lyoko uses two boards, cards and dice.

The game goal is to find 4 diary parts, belonging to Franz Hopper, lost in the virtual world. These diary fragments are the clue to fight against the supercomputer called X.A.N.A.

But it is not easy because there are waiting for you hundreds of virtual monsters (counters and cards) and dangers. The players, 1-4, have to face these threaths through the board related with the virtual world moving from level to level. There are 5 levels, each one with different landscapes. The last one is the place where Aelita (one of the main characters), should activate a virtual tower using the Lyoko Code in order to came back to the past.

It is important too to take an eye in the real world (second board) because X.A.N.A. is trying to control the heroes friends in order to win.

Summarizing, the players have to fight against monsters and face dangers using dice, looking for the diary parts moving through the board and bringing Aelita to the 5 level in order to came back to the past.
