About the Game

Collusion is a 3–5 player game of negotiation, deception, and betrayal set in the aftermath of a heist. Over 60–90 minutes, players fight to walk away with the biggest fortune—but there’s one problem:

No one can claim an Asset from the Vault alone.*

Every piece of loot requires two players to make a Deal. Negotiate your cut, shake hands, make promises, threaten revenge, offer future favors—then secretly decide whether you’re actually going to Cooperate, Betray, or Counterfeit.

If both players Cooperate, the loot is divided exactly as agreed. Betray your partner while they Cooperate, however, and you take the entire Asset for yourself while they’re left with the Heat. But greed can backfire: if both players Betray, nobody gets paid and both attract Heat. And if you suspect your partner is planning to stab you in the back, Counterfeit can turn their betrayal against them.

The real game happens around the table.

Lie. Bluff. Threaten. Bribe. Make alliances. Promise someone a better Deal next round—or convince the entire table that another player can’t be trusted. Players are free to say almost anything, and no verbal promise is binding. When the Deal cards are revealed, only the choices on the table matter.

And Deals are only the beginning.

Use Leverage cards to interfere with negotiations, plant traps beneath Assets, manipulate Reputation, and disrupt your rivals. Place Betting Tokens when you think you know exactly how another player will act. Exploit the asymmetric ability of your Crew Role, or spend an Action and two Leverage cards to roll the Steal Die, risking everything from a complete miss to stealing a rival’s cash.

Meanwhile, the police are closing in.

At the end of every round, a Panic & Police card changes the situation at the table. Police Warnings become increasingly dangerous, forcing players to adapt as pressure mounts. When the fifth Police Warning appears, the game ends immediately.

Resolve any final effects, subtract the value of every Heat, and count what you managed to escape with.

The player with the highest final score wins.

Make the Deal. Read the table. Betray them before they betray you.
