“You (Cortez) control a band of Conquistadors seeking Gold in the New World. Conquistador Points: You start with 20 Conquistador Points (CP) (1 Point = 25 Men). If you are ever reduced to zero CP you automatically lose. The Deck: There is one deck. There are 2 main card types: Conquistador cards and Indian cards. Conquistador card types include: Expedition, Diplomacy, War, and Disease. Indian card types include: Aztecs, Tribes, and Settlements. Scoring: The game Ends when there are no cards left in the Deck. At the end of the game put all your Ally cards into the Gold Pile. Your score = the total point value of the cards in the Gold Pile.”
