Craft My Cost is a cooperative game in which players try to deal with incoming flooding from climate change affecting a coastal urban region. With each turn, the menacing flooding will increase the level of danger. Players can use nature-based and engineering solutions to protect the affected populations.
Craft My Cost is part of the Craft My Street project, a research initiative held by University College Dublin to foster children's participation in climate change issues. Minecraft mechanics inspire the game, transposed to an analogue format.
Craft My Coast is a free print-and-play version that requires printing the board and using two D6 blue, red, green, and yellow cubes.
