About the Game

Five explorers are trying to prevent the rising of the undersea kingdom of R’lyeh and the awakening of Great Cthulhu with it. To achieve their goal, the Disk of R’lyeh must be destroyed. However, the Starknife – an artefact necessary to the task – has disappeared. One of the explorers must have hidden it! It can be anywhere, and finding it is not a simple thing. The fact that time is of the essence does not leave much to hesitate, either…

Before Cthulhu Awakens (クトゥルフが目覚める前に), the 1st title in ARCLIGHT’s Mystery Portable Series, is a cooperative deduction game set in the Cthulhu Mythos, with simple rules just by flipping cards.
