About the Game
''CuboKarma is a contemplative tabletop mirror-game about noticing your own days. Fourteen custom dice carry 84 unique faces across seven spheres of everyday life — morning and commute, work, people, home, inner world, and chance. Each face pairs a wry, recognizable one-liner with a karmic weight from −2 to +2. Karma here is not punishment: it is an attention tracker. Each turn you blindly draw three dice from a cloth bag, roll them, find their numbers in the "Faces of Days" table and read the phrases, then move your marker along a track from −10 to +15 and return the dice to the bag — the bag never empties. Four arcs demand growing attention: Fate (pure observation, sum all three dice), Choice, Consequences (karmic debt tokens force you to face the lightest minus), and Inertia (the wheel of samsara drains karma on unattended turns). A Fate die optionally adds what you cannot control: envy, calm, whirlpool, reflection, wave, meditation. Two cooperative modes complete the box: Merger, where everyone rolls simultaneously into one shared karma, and Offering, where the heaviest minus stays with you and the lighter faces move the shared day forward. You win by crossing the Door — a movable goal marker set between +7 and +15 depending on mode. Falling to the bottom (−10) is not a loss: it starts a New Cycle, returning the marker to 0 with a Lesson from the Past in hand. The game does not teach, does not diagnose, and guarantees every player the right to remain silent. Recommended for adults: not because of adult content — there is none — but because of adult texture. The 84 moments are carved from grown-up everyday life (work, aging parents, drifted friends, routine), and the game asks for lived experience, not skill.
