About the Game

Cutting Corners was published in A Gamut of Games.

On a piece of paper, draw a square with two adjacent sides one color, and the other two sides the other. Each player will use a color. In your turn, a player draws a line that starts in one side of the square, do a right angle, and end in another side of the square. The first player start by doing this without further inplications, then the second player must cross one line already in the square, then next play must cross two lines, three lines, four lines and finally five lines, after that the game end with the original square divided in various sections. Each sections is won by the player that was more sides in it. Winner is the player who takes most sections.
