The Goblins history in the DIE Ball contest has been a speckled mess of suspensions, injuries, and unpredictable behavior. This season, however, the Goblins have solidified their Squad with former two-time All Star Yolo; last season’s Injury Rush leader, the veteran Quix; and the late addition of a young and hungry competitor Nark. Nark missed all of last year while serving a suspension for biting an arbiter during a playoff game the previous season. Nark has since apologized publicly only after losing his endorsement deal with Yummy Bites Microwave Weasels on a Stick.
Each team is just 9 cards, many with multi use of each side of the card:
3 Player cards
1 Team card
1 Utility card
2 Field cards
2 Bet cards
DIE Ball is a 2 player head-to-head game of everything from hand and tableau management, to bluffing and betting, to area control, all trying to score just 7 points, or have the high score when the clock runs out.
Button Shy Modular Games are tiny games that are just cards (provide your own additional components) that also require multiple parts to play (for example, DIE Ball requires any two teams).
