DUST Reclamation 2024

Set in the Cities of Venus Universe, DUST Reclamation is a trick-taking game that Venusian miners play to pass the time. The game is played over four rounds. It is a must-follow trick-taking game where the trump suit is determined by the Reclamator in the center of the play area. At the beginning of a player's turn, they can swap out a card in the current trump slot (either a trump card or one matching the number in that slot), thereby changing the trump suit mid-hand before playing their card.

There are four DUST cards in play throughout the game. These cards represent the highest number of all suits, making them automatic trick-winners unless another card is played after them in the same trick. The value of DUST cards varies each round, being either negative 1 point or positive 1 point, as determined by a four-card mini deck shuffled at the start of each round.

Additionally, there are work orders in the form of the number of tricks taken that award bonus points if achieved by any player in that round. Scores are tracked by handing out V-nite Ore at the end of each round, and the player with the most Ore at the end of the fourth round wins!
