The new Hazard Track mechanic transforms gameplay by introducing hazards that increase the difficulty of exploration and discovery. Players accumulate hazards that may trigger end-of-round penalties for everyone affected. However, the player with the highest hazard level receives a one-time bonus that can be strategically used during the game, creating a risk-versus-reward dynamic.
