About the Game

This Dawn of Iron battle pack expansion covers the pivotable battle of Port Royal Sound fought in South Carolina in November 1861. By the end of 1861, things were looking grim for the North as the Union blockade struggled to contain the Confederacy at sea. What they needed was a safe harbor, like Port Royal Sound to resupply their US Navy ships. After a string of defeats on land, the fate of the Union's cause was at stake!
