About the Game

The whole neighbourhood competes to see who can decorate their house in the most tasteful, elegant display of brightly- coloured lights in the run-up to Christmas. Every square metre of your house has to be blasting out light if you want to stand a chance of out-Holidaying the Joneses!

2-4 players compete to put on the most impressive Christmas lights on the front of their houses by spending cards to build their decks, install power lines and put up decorations, drawing their display out on individual grids. When the big day comes you don't want to be left with unpowered lights or empty walls.

Decs Building is intended to be printed on the inside face of a Christmas card to friends or family, and in addition to the self-contained card, requires only components many families will already have around their houses: coloured pawns from e.g. Ludo or Pachesi, a couple of decks of regular playing cards, and a pen or pencil and paper for each player.
