About the Game
Build the rail network across Scandinavia. Sweden, experiencing industrial growth, particularly in mining, manufacturing, and forestry, while Norway, with its rich natural resources, relied heavily on shipping, fishing, and timber exports. Both countries maintained a deep connection to their rural pasts, with traditional agriculture and craftsmanship still central to life, but also began embracing modernity through expanding cities, railways, and an emerging sense of national identity.
Most important cities would be: Stockholm - a rapidly growing metropolis, transitioning from a small, historic city to a modern, industrial capital of Sweden. The city's economy was expanding with developments in trade, manufacturing, and infrastructure. Kristiania - experiencing rapid industrialization, with key sectors such as shipping, timber, and manufacturing driving its economic growth, while modern infrastructure like railways and factories began reshaping its landscape.
