This scenario, included in Lookout magazine "Neues vom Ausguck" is supposed to increase the difficulty of the game by alot. In short, you only play era 1 and without colonies.

Wer sich ein wenig in moderner Internet-Kultur auskennt, dem wird "Kaizo Mario" sicherlich ein Begriff sein - eine ultraschwere Version des beliebten Konsolenspiels "Super Mario World" von Nintendo. Dieses Szenario ist ganz im Sinne von "Kaizo Mario" unverschämt schwer und soll euch vor eine echte Herausforderung stellen. Wer traut sich?

English Translation: Anyone familiar with modern internet culture will be familiar with Kaizo Mario - an ultra-hard version of Nintendo's popular console game Super Mario World. This scenario is outrageously difficult in the spirit of "Kaizo Mario" and should present you with a real challenge. Do you dare?
