About the Game

This is an expansion for Die Siedler von Catan (The Settlers of Catan). This scenario was first released as this promotional poster and went on to be included in Die Siedler von Catan: Historische Szenarien in 1998. Play requires bits from the base game and the Seafarers expansion.

The scenario simulates the pharaoh Cheops commissioning the royal families (the players) to build a great pyramid. Players build trade routes, collect resources (including gold) and contribute pyramid blocks to the great work. Cheops awards extra points to the players contributing the most and the least to the pyramid.
