Dominations: Rise and Fall 2022

Rise and Fall is two expansion in one, adding two exciting new modules to Dominations that can be played separately or at the same time.

The first expansion, Glory & Decline, will give you the option of using Glory cards. You get one of these new cards every time you perform a Build action, whether it's a city or monument. They give powerful bonuses when played, especially if you combine several of the same type. However, your civilization will now have to deal with Decline, which appears as a new token on the Influence track. Glory cars cost Decline points to play, and you Decline score will be subtracted from your influence score at the end of each age. You'll have to be careful about how many Glory cars you use to avoid losing to many points...

The Corruption expansion adds Domination tiles to the game which replace the cards from the core box. Each tile appeals an effect to the Knowledge Domain it is assigned to. These are drawn randomly at the start of the game but, at the end of each Age, players will be able to reassign them, which those possessing the highest Corruption score going first. Their effect can be good or bad, affecting the cost or efficiency of certain actions or only coming into play at the end of an Age. Domination tiles affect all players for the following Age, so you can choose to play them to aid you in your efforts of to hinder your opponents.

Rise and Fall opens up a wealth of new strategic possibilities. Glory and Decline gives you the opportunity to play powerful cards that will bolster your nation if you can pay the price, and corruption gives the end of age phase an exciting new twist with increased player interaction.
