Don't buy this CRINGE! is a fast, humorous card game about youth subcultures and the generational gap. Players become representatives of one of six subcultures and compete to assemble the most on-brand outfit. The game leans heavily into playful slang, memes, and stereotypes, making it a light-hearted parody where "OGs" and "Zoomers" can laugh at each other.
Each turn, players perform one action: play cards, discard a card to trigger its effect, or draw a card. Once a player places their first piece of subculture gear, they "join" that subculture and can only build outfits from that group. The shared market, attack/defense effects, universal "joker" gear, and disruptive "bro" and "skuf" cards create constant interaction - stealing cards, blocking opponents, wiping their outfits, or protecting your own. Hand size is always maintained at three cards, keeping the game quick and tactical.
You win either by completing a full 4-piece outfit of a single subculture in your play area, or by playing three "skuf" cards at once for an instant victory. The game ends immediately when any victory condition is met.
