Dorasure Blades of the Empire 2016

An expansion for Dorasure that contains three new characters: Archer, Bishop and Jester.

Archer: can sacrifice movement dice for resources; co-operate on quests from long range; and utilise two dice in Team Combos. Her treasure item allows her to change an ally’s Climactic Battle result to a Team Combo.

Bishop: has the same resource as the base game’s Paladin. She can heal allies as an action; gain extra XP when completing quests with “magical” affinity; and add her Knowledge roll to an ally’s Combat quest attempt. Her treasure item allows her to use her Knowledge roll instead of a Combat roll in the Climactic Battle (effectively forfeiting the use of the Anti-Dragon Weapons).

Jester: can gain resources through Peak Roll fumbles and criticals. The Jester can also use two dice when determining the outcome of a Roaming Dragon action and select the preferred result; and uncover a single quest/reward tile pairing upon reaching level one. Once per game, the Jester’s treasure item lets you flip the results of a Peak Roll in the Climactic Battle phase (potentially converting a disaster into a sure hit against the dragon).
