EMCE: Firetruck 2025

The National Weather Services has issued an Ice Storm Warning. The city lacks the necessary equipment to manage winter weather and its cascading effects. You and other players are crisis managers who must plan and allocate resources efficiently. Fire trucks may be the only operational vehicles in extreme conditions. The resources depicted in the game include just the equipment and personnel that can operate using fire trucks.

EMCE: Firetruck is a tutorial game that provides an introduction to the game structure and game objectives to prepare players for the EMCE: City Blackout game. It can be played by itself for a shorter game experience, or played ahead of the City Blackout game.

The game supports 2-8 active players and up to 8 observers. Over two rounds, players will address location-specific emergencies in certain regions of the city represented on the map, while also addressing citywide challenges on the cascade board. Success in early rounds can unlock preparedness bonuses. There are rules for using the resources at hand to address the challenges, requiring players to think strategically.
