About the Game

This is a very simple (but not simplistic) and fast point-to-point ... the boggy Netherlands terrain made roads even more important, especially for armor/panzer ... regiment/brigade game about Market Garden. 8 one-day turns.

Rules are all of 3 pages. Excellent intro to military/naval history boardgames for family and friends (over the holidays, etc.) Already really popular at the club here in Oslo.

If Fog of War is used, German (hidden until engaged) strength can be Strong/historical, Weak, and Very Weak - Monty's Fantasy - with the games length ... the requirement to open a road/route up to Arnhem ... shortened accordingly. The probability of each of those German strengths can be indicated by Dutch Resistance warning of panzers coming into the area ... or not.
