The focus of the game is on clever trading designed to buy low and sell high as well as create an efficient networks while disrupting you competitors. Trade in ivory, tea, spices, rum, gold, and other commodities. Manage your empire with ships, storage yards, and settlements. Pirates, on their own or at the behest of other players, may try to steal your cargoes and attack your locations. The game is won by the player with the greatest wealth.
