Eight Nights 2026

Eight Nights is a fast-paced Hanukkah trick-taking game where players make predictions, play their cards, and try to light the most candles on the Menorah by the end of the game. Each round adds a new twist inspired by the holiday, from simple trump effects to team moments that feel like gathering around the candles together.

Every round of Eight Nights begins by revealing one Miracle Card. Each Miracle introduces a special rule inspired by a Hanukkah tradition. Each player makes a secret bid on how many tricks they expect to win. Hit your bid and you light a candle; miss it and you earn Gelt to spend on fun one-round powers. With special rules for three players and a cooperative mode where two players team up against Ner-Bot, a playful shadowy Menorah, Eight Nights brings the warmth and spirit of the festival into a fast, family-friendly card game that everyone can enjoy.

Players can win in two ways:

Instant Win - Light all your flames before anyone else and win immediately. Endgame Win - When the Menorah is fully lit, the player with the most lit flames wins the Festival of Lights.
