About the Game

This game is inspired by the popular Spanish comics series of the same name. Capitán Trueno is a knight errant in the era of the 3rd Crusade (ca.AD 1200) who travels the world with his companions to fight bandits, tyrants and other evil characters. His companions are his young squire, the astute Crispin, his strong friend, the robust Goliath, and the Viking princess Sigrid.

The premise of the game is that Sigrid has been captured by a gang of Orcs and is now held in a Dungeon. The players have to travel along a game track through desert, jungle and into the Dungeon. The first player to reach Sigrid sets her free and wins the game.

At the beginning the players get a set of 'assistance cards'. The game track has fields with obstacles which you can pass by a die roll or by discarding a card. Other fields can give you new cards.

An unusual twist is that many of the hazards, such as orcs, snakes or skeletons, are represented by counters. Each player controls a set of these that he can move to harass the other players.
