If you capture the Elk along the way, you can increase the value of one of your bid cards, potentially transforming a 6-value card into an unassailable 7. And the Owl allows you to reroll the dice and thus increase the value of the loot. There are also a black and a white dice as an extension. With the black dice, everything is different: While you only achieve something if you alone played the highest card, now the rule is: Two identical bid cards score points! However, with the black dice, you lose points, and the affected players must pay the corresponding number of Elk Pesos. This is a source of joy – but for the others. And the white dice ensures that not just one player gets something, but two. The few rules are quickly understood and many actions provide surprises and lots of fun.

Eine große Rolle spielen Elch und Eule. Wer nebenbei den Elch erobert, kann damit den Wert einer seiner Bietkarten wertvoller machen, möglicherweise eine 6er Karte in eine unangreifbare 7 umwandeln. Und die Eule erlaubt, den Würfel neu zu werfen und so den Wert der Beute zu steigern.

Dazu kommen als Erweiterung ein schwarzer und ein weißer Würfel. Beim schwarzen ist alles anders: Während man eben nur dann etwas erreicht, wenn man alleine die höchste Karte gespielt hat, gilt nun: Zwei gleiche Bietkarten bringen Punkte! Allerdings sind es beim schwarzen Würfel Minuspunkte, die betroffenen müssen entsprechend viele Elch Pesos abgeben. Da kommt Freude auf – aber bei den anderen.

Und der weiße Würfel sorgt dafür, dass nicht nur ein Spieler etwas bekommt, sondern gleich zwei.

Die wenigen Regeln sind schnell verstanden und viele Aktionen sorgen für Überraschungen und viel Spaß.
