About the Game

Espião ("Spy") is a board game from the defunct publisher based in Oporto (Portugal), Karto.

It is a game that somewhat resembles the Chess and Checkers, but with extremely simple and basic rules. With a low level strategy is being accessible to all ages.

Game for 2 players where each has 16 playing pieces: One Boss, 8 agents in the front row, 7 spies in line next to the Boss. The goal is to "hunt down" the Boss of opposing opponent, much to chess style.

Each player can move a playing piece in turn and the direction of their movement is given by the arrow(s). The only piece that can move without respecting the arrows are the Boss and can only move a single house. Spies can move up to four houses and agents can move up to two houses. The enemy piece is captured when it hits and occupies the house where the opponent's piece.
