Essence: The Game of Insights 2011

Essence: The Game of Insights is a communicative game that invites 2 to 7 players to get a more profound understanding of themselves and see each other with new eyes. Different kinds of essential questions and about 370 phrase cards provide a broad range of traits, activities and values allowing the players to assess one another in many different ways. Whoever proves to be most accomplished in perception, reflexion and empathy wins.

In contrast to so-called party games in which exposures, embarrassments and gloating are commonplace, Essence lives off the sincere curiosity about the multifaceted human nature, the joy of authentic openness, vivid discussions and an esteeming look at personal potentials and resources.

Since the game contents are in German as well as in English, Essence can be applied within a multinational context for intercultural exchange.
