Euthia: Cruel Frost 2025

The final chapter in the Euthia trilogy, Cruel Frost brings the epic adventure that is Euthia to a chilling climax.

Euthia is an open world fantasy RPG board game for 1-4 players you can play co-op, competitively, or solo. The Cruel Frost expansion introduces challenging new scenarios, hair-raising new enemies, and unique new heroes.

The story centers around a malevolent Spider Queen who’s seized control of forbidden ice magic, and now threatens to plunge Euthia into frozen darkness. Take on the challenges as one of the existing heroes, or become one of the new heroes introduced in Cruel Frost, each with their own branching path.

As well as new replayable scenarios, Cruel Frost introduces icy new mechanics to your base game. Playable with almost any scenario, the Ice Claws module brings raging ice storms to Euthia, transforming your modular map with new frozen tiles and paving the way to fresh challenges and new opportunities.

Moving through ice storms will cause frostbite, but will also grant access to powerful ice magic, changing the way you play. Out in the snow, you’ll encounter the new Ice Entity, offering tantalizing rewards to the brave.

Luckily, with the Ice Claws module comes the arrival of the Ice Clans. These guardians of ancient wisdom will share their knowledge with your heroes to help them withstand the cold, revealing new ways to gear up, heal, and learn new abilities.

Speaking of gearing up, Cruel Frost introduces an entire new stock of items for traders, adding even more depth to equipment upgrades. Not only are there more levels and options (thanks to new items and four new gem types), but some armor can also now be upgraded with elemental essences, introducing powerful new effects in the advanced stages of the game.
